The Delivery of Care Package during the MCO.

Concerning the official announcement made by our Prime Minister on Restricted Movement Control Order (MCO) due to the outbreak of COVID-19, St. Nicholas’ Home temporarily closed down all services and training.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, our Blind and Visually Impaired (BVI) community and Ex-Nicholites are confronted by additional obstacles, they were incapable of going out alone to buy their essential groceries.
Therefore, we quickly went into action, working together with our kind and generous donors who made donations and contributions of the care package towards our Home. We sincerely appreciate your generosity in helping our BVI Community and Ex-Nicholites.
We have delivered the 155 Care Packages (essential grocery items) to some of our BVI and Ex-Nicholites at Bayan Lepas, Balik Pulau, Teluk Kumbar, Paya Terubong, Farlim, Jelutong, Sungai Pinang, Glugor, Tanjung Tokong, Butterworth, Kulim, Parit Buntar, Tanjung Piandang, and Kuala Kurau areas. The initiative was done in cooperation with JKM Pulau Pinang, JPAM, RELA, our generous donors, our SNH staff, and our social care officer.
We hope that more generous donors can donate and support us so that we can help more BVI community and Ex-Nicholites.
