St. Nicholas Home also offered a short course for schools’ students. The IT Camp for primary and secondary schools’ students will usually teach on the basics of working on a computer such as setting up screen reader (NVDA), short cut keys, creating, saving and finding a document, Microsoft Office and others . The syllabus for IT Camp might change; depend on the teachers’/students’ requirement.
We believe that exposing a student to IT since young will help them in their future. It will help them in finding more online resources related to their studies, doing researches, taking notes etc by using the IT skills. We hope that this ability will help to improve their academic performance leading to a brighter future.
Application for an IT camp can be made through school. The school can send us a request letter stating the number of students, the topics that need to be covered, the date and duration of the camp and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If accommodation and food is needed, please state it as well. St. Nicholas Home will then issue an invoice for charges related to the camp.
