I believe this saying by Bethany Hamilton best described what the Blind and Visually Impaired community really wants. To have not only the opportunities but also the possibilities to realise their full potential, to live life to the fullest extent.
Since its establishment in 1926, St. Nicholas’ Home has been in the forefront of creating possibilities for the blind and visually impaired people in Malaysia. From establishing the first blind school in the country to developing new apps to help BVIs, the Home have been and continue to be a pioneer in education, training and services for the blind.
I’m excited to welcome you to our website, and invite you to explore the many programmes and activities we run and organise. I hope you will be inspired to join hands with us as a volunteer or as a donor, to bring hope and dignity to the many who are without sight.
