This day marked another milestone in our partnership with Penang Adventist Hospital in providing free cataract surgeries to the needy patients in Malaysia since 2018.

15 October 2022 - St. Nicholas’ Home, Penang (SNH) hosted World Sight Day every October to raise the important of eye care and reduce preventable blindness. 

This year, with the support of our Penang Chief Minister, Parliament Member of Bukit Bendera, Mayor of Penang City Council, Penang Police Chief and NMMS successfully walk with a 4-kilometer in George Town area.

We're honored to welcome our Penang Police Chief YDH CP Dato' Mohd Shuhaily bin Mohd Zain visited the Home. We're also extremely grateful Buddhist Tzu-Chi Merits Society Malaysia and Pertubuhan Nilai-Nilai Murni.

We're extremely grateful and happy to see more than seven thousand of runners joined the run. Despite the gloomy weather in the morning, the love shown by everyone towards us were obvious.

The Home’s food carnival has always been one of our key components in our annual fundraising strategy. We feel very blessed to finally be able to organise our food carnival again after years of inactivity due to the pandemic.

The anticipation was finally over for the cycling fans in Penang island. The return of our annual charity cycling event, Charity Fun Ride 2022 on 27 August 2022, Saturday has brought cheers to lots of two-wheeled participants.

4 August 2022 - We are honoured to have our trainer from Malaysian Red Crescent Society Penang Chapter with us this morning to educate us on the first aid skills.

16 July 2022 - We are honoured to have our guest from AKPK Bank Negara with us this morning to educate us on the importance of financial education especially for our visually impaired. The increase in the cost of living has once again become a hot topic.

On July 7th, St. Nicholas’ Home, Penang organized a Chromebook handover ceremony on a beautiful afternoon. 10 new Chromebooks donated by YTL Foundation were presented to the recipients.
