Braille Reading Competition
St. Nicholas’ Home Information & Resource Centre organized the Braille Competition annually. The Braille Competition is organized in Bahasa Malaysia and English language. It is open to school children and any BVI participants interested in taking part with cash prizes to be won. We had three secondary schools, trainees and ex-trainees who participated this year. Nawal Binti Khairil Anwar was the winner for the categories for above 25 years old for both languages.
She then represented St. Nicholas Home at the Braille Reading Competition National level held in Kuala Lumpur in November 2019, where she won the English Language reading competition. She represented Malaysia in Thailand in January 2020.
