Chief Minister visited SNH

This COVID-19 pandemic is unlike anything we have ever experienced. Penang Chief Minister, YAB TUAN Chow Kon Yeow has expressed concern and paid a visit to St. Nicholas’ Home as a result of the news reported in New Straits Times (dated 20 May 2020) giving the impression that we are about to close down. With this good opportunity, we appeal to CM’s help in requesting an annual grant from the Penang state government, as well as getting a reduction for our Home’s electricity and water bill.

Due to movement control order (MCO), many of the planned fundraising events for 2020 have been affected and canceled. Besides that, we also lost our other source of income from the Wellness and Pastry center. We are very grateful to have concern from the government and Penang’s Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, always offering a helping hand during a hard time.
