Baking and Culinary Courses
St. Nicholas’ Home Pastry Training Centre was established on 4th November 2006 with two objectives: To provide baking and culinary courses to the visually impaired and to raise fund for St. Nicholas’ Home through selling the pastries.
Currently, there are 2 instructors and 4 students, who are classified as B2 and B3 sight categories. The basic pastry course takes 6 months to complete. Students will learn the skills to bake buns, cookies, muffins, cakes, tarts, puffs etc according to the syllabus.
The advanced course includes culinary and pastry decoration, which takes another 6 months to complete.
Fresh from the oven daily, all pastries are open for outsiders for bulk purchase. Feel free to call 04-229 0800 for order placement.
