Sensory Garden by American Boy Scout from Dalat International School

Eagle Scout Service Project is a project for Boy Scout of America (BSA) to demonstrate leadership while performing a project which benefiting to the community. We are glad to have BSA from Dalat International School conduct their Eagle project at St. Nicholas’ Home.

They built a sensory garden for the blind with the purpose of helping the blind reduce the cost of groceries as well as adding nutrition into their daily meal as the vegetable is edible and grown organically. And now, thanks to the group, we had different kind of plants added in our Sensory Garden: Basil, Cilantro, Parsley, Lettuce, Cherry Tomatoes, Tomatoes, Okra, Beans, and Lemongrass. We really appreciate that BSA from Dalat Internation school take the initiative and effort to have this service project, contributing the community and the blind.
