St Nicholas’ Home Re-opening All Services

After a five-month hiatus since 18 March until 4 August 2020 due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) by the Government of Malaysia, we are excited to announce that St Nicholas’ Home has finally reopened our services to the public. Wellness Centre, Pastry and Basketry as well as vocational training classes for our blind and visually impaired (BVI) trainees: Massage training, Pastry training, Handicraft training and Basic skills development, are now operating following government standard operating procedure (SOP) in order to ensure that all the staff and residents are free from Covid-19.

After a photo session of gift presentation, we offered YB Phee Boon Poh and YB Chris Lee Chun Kit a brief trip to explore different stations of the Home and showcase the services and work programme we provided for the blind and visually impaired (BVI). In the end, we highlighted our Taska (Childcare Centre), and Wellness Centre during the tour.

For Wellness Centre, we are grateful that we receive support from our donors such as donation of hand sanitizer, face shield and personal protective equipment (PPE). All of our masseuses are screened for Covid-19 before we resume our business.
