Tutor with Thought Fundraising Event
A foreign student returned to Malaysia from the United Kingdom due to the coronavirus. She and her friends started the ‘Tutor with Thought’ programme to raise funds for St. Nicholas’ Home and the idea was initially stimulated by reading an article in The Star mentioned about the plight of the Home.
‘Tutor with Thought’ programme is to help Malaysian students who need guidance to apply for their desired courses in overseas universities. They create a social impact to help our local community by leveraging on their skills and knowledge, and all the fee will directly be channelled towards the Home.
On behalf of the blind and visually impaired community in SNH, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to ‘Tutor with Thought’ for their thoughtful fundraising event. Your efforts are very much appreciated and we are indeed grateful for having such a kind and young generation for us to continue supporting the blind and visually impaired residents at our home.
