Visit by Chief Minister
Chief Minister of Penang YB Chow Kon Yeow made an official visit to the home today. Our trainees greeted him with a warm welcome music performance. The Chief Minister was impressed with our Arts, Culture and Music Programme. CM was also delighted by our services which serve to provide a holistic approach in the care of the inmates of the home who could be as young as 2 years old to above 60 years of age.
The land issue was brought up by our Chairman Rt Rev. Datuk Charles Samuel, an initial application had been made in 2014 and was informed by Penang Development Corporation (PDC) still under consideration. CM said that the Penang government will consider a request from St. Nicholas’ Home for a piece of land to build a training centre in Batu Kawan, Seberang Perai.
