“We Care for You” Klinik Menara Penang 2020 CSR Programme
Prevention is better than cure.
August 28, 2020 – Klinik Menara set up a CSR project by sponsoring influenza vaccine to St. Nicholas’ Home, benefiting all the school’s staff, trainees and senior residences. The injection serves to prevent the people in the Home from the flu as it is highly infectious, especially among the elderly and the very young.
Vaccination is crucial for those at a high risk of developing serious complications if infected with the flu, such as asthma, diabetes, chronic lung disease, pregnant women and those over 65 years of age. Apart from that, it is important that caregivers and those who live with these risk groups get vaccinations as well.
Therefore, this action by Klinik Menara was very necessary for the well-being of everyone in the Home. We sincerely thank the doctors and nurses who came and provided the services on that day.
