Due to COVID-19, the White Cane Day 2021 was held virtually on Zoom and Facebook Live. We invited our former trainees to share their work experiences. We would like to thank the participants and sponsors for making this event a successful one.

We greatly appreciate B Braun Asia Pacific for their effort to organize the "B. Braun Asia Pacific Virtual Charity Run" and for including St. Nicholas’ Home, Penang as one of the beneficiaries of this charity run.

We collaborated with Penang General Hospital to raise awareness regarding blindness among government agencies and educate the public on how to correctly aid the blind and visually impaired people virtually on Zoom and Facebook.

We are especially appreciative of Penang State Government, YB Phee Boon Poh, YB Chris Lee Chun Kit, JKJAV (North-East district mobile vaccination team), and Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Pulau Pinang for making this happen.

Our Social Care Officer and RD Officer visited the Society of the Blind Penang (SBM) located at Bukit Mertajam to distribute care packages to their members as an effort to assist BVIs (Blind and Visually Impaired) who are in need.
